A new spot opened in Hilton Head this summer and it’s pretty much everyone’s favorite new spot. Part food hall, part brewery, part entertainment venue, this space is huge and offers something for each member of your family. The Bank has lawn games, live music, plenty of seating, and enough food and drink options that are also spread out so nobody gets overwhelmed. We brought the whole fam there and we each found something to enjoy.
If you guessed that this place was inside a former bank, you’d be correct. (Bank of America, to be specific.) I’m a sucker for the decor that includes safety deposit boxes.
All vendors are bank themed – we’ve got Ben Franks (hot dogs), Dollar Bill’s, and Armored Bar. The puns abound and perhaps it’s because I’m a cheesy parent now, but I don’t really mind. most importantly, there’s something for everyone. Finn and I split some fish and chips and we got loaded fries for the table. (Typically these are served as tots, but I’m shockingly not a tots girlie.) My nephews got nephews got tacos and burgers, there was a giant pretzel floating around, and we got a pizza with nice thin crust. They also serve local Side Hustle Brewing, which means there’s great craft beer options if that’s your thing, but cocktail fans like me are still covered.
There are tvs all over the place – tons of em. There’s also a jumbotron outside, which means this is the ideal spot for game day. It’s also ideal because there’s just so much space and seating options. Plenty of food, entertainment, and space to run around means this is a great spot for families – even though it’s a beer garden, it doesn’t feel like it was built around the 21+ crowd…or against them either. Basically, if you’re looking to drink, you’ll feel like it was made for you, while somehow those with kids looking for a family friendly place will feel the same way.
